During my visit, the variety stood out straight away, with options ranging from Fish & Chips and Beef Steak Pie to more elegant choices such as Beef Wellington, Lamb Rump, and the impressive Beef Duo. The Seafood Pasta of the Day added a fresh touch, while dishes like Katsu Chicken, Tempura Chicken, Chicken and Haggis, and Fishcakes ensured there was something to suit every taste. The Surf & Turf Sharing Platter was particularly appealing for those looking to enjoy a little of everything.
What makes the menu memorable is its combination of hearty classics and creative dishes. The Goat Cheese and Beetroot Tart offered a lighter option, while the Stack Pie and Chips delivered traditional flavour and generous portions. We also enjoyed the Beef Stroganoff and a Fillet Steak, both cooked well and packed with flavour. To begin, the Canapés and Beef Sandwich were excellent choices, setting the tone for the meal.
To finish, the dessert selection provided the perfect ending. The Profiteroles were rich and satisfying, while the Pina Colada Cheesecake added a refreshing tropical twist.
